• Full-time, days shift, 8.5-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients with diverse needs such as falls, orthopedic repairs, joint replacements, strokes, and weakness.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including patient treatments, patient discharges, and supervision of therapy assistants.
• Manage a caseload that includes evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress documentation for various patient populations in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nursing staff and administration to ensure effective patient care.
• Document patient progress and therapy outcomes using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Adapt therapy hours flexibly between 7AM to 6PM, Sunday through Saturday, to best meet patient needs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid occupational therapy license for the state of Tennessee.
• Strong foundational knowledge of adult and geriatric therapy needs.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing or rehab facility preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Net Health or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience treating patients with orthopedic, neurological, or post-surgical conditions.
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to patient needs.
• Knowledge of documentation requirements for therapy evaluations, plans, and progress notes.
