Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, Intermediate Medical Care, or Stepdown units.
• Float between units and possibly to other hospital campuses as needed, including specialized areas such as Heart, Brain & Spine, or DODD.
• Manage patient ratios approximately 1:3-4, ensuring safety and quality care.
• Perform IV starts and administer medications while adhering to clinical protocols.
• Operate telemetric monitoring systems to track patient vital signs and status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatments and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in a similar setting.
• Proven IV insertion and telephonic monitoring skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or across multiple units.
• Knowledge of different hospital campuses and their specific protocols.
• Ability to adapt quickly to various patient acuity levels.
