Job Title
• Surgical Technologist (OR CST)

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Assist during a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including neuro, ENT, orthopedics, trauma, transplant, and robotics.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment and supplies are sterile and ready.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support safe and efficient patient care.
• Work within a dynamic, trauma-level one academic hospital environment with a focus on trauma, transplants, and complex surgeries.
• Be available for rotating weekends, holiday shifts, and on-call duties, including up to 2 weekend call shifts every 4 weeks.
• Float within the scope to support different units and facilities as needed, ensuring coverage for an array of surgical cases.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Certification: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), and BLS.
• Radiation badge required at the time of assignment.
• Ability to float between units and assist with a variety of cases.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and robotic surgeries (Da Vinci Xi).
• Familiarity with complex and high-acuity surgeries such as trauma, transplants, and burns.
• Experience working in a Level I trauma center or teaching hospital setting.
