Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, dayshift, onsite
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the surgical operating room for general, gynecology, urology, orthopedic (excluding spine), and plastic surgery cases, including robotic procedures
• Assist with intraoperative patient management and ensure adherence to safety and sterilization protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia professionals, and tech staff to deliver efficient patient care
• Ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical records system and comply with unit policies
• Participate in call rotations, weekend shifts, and holiday coverage as required
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, including general surgery
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• BLS certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Neuro surgery or transplant procedures experience ideal
• Experience with advanced surgical equipment such as the DaVinci Robot, Mako Robot, and other OR technologies
• Positive, flexible attitude with strong teamwork skills
