Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a busy adult trauma, medical, and surgical unit within a 32-bed facility.
• Perform assessments, skills, education, and documentation using electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Float across different Medical Surgical units within multiple locations as needed.
• Adhere to established protocols for trauma and orthopedic trauma patients, including Hip Fracture Program requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and practice standards during all procedures and patient interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent Medical Surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting.
• Active RN license in North Dakota or a Compact state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Ability to float to various units and work in a high-volume, level one trauma center.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AcuDose and other inpatient equipment.
• Previous experience working in a trauma or orthopedic specialty is a plus.
