Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Monitor patient status, including cardiac and vital signs, and respond to changes.
- Administer medications, perform IV starts, and manage central lines and PICC lines.
- Interpret dysrhythmias and ABGs to assess patient condition.
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube management, port access, and removal, as well as high-flow nasal cannula therapy.
- Ensure infection prevention protocols and patient safety measures are adhered to.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Valid RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage vascular access devices.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience with GE telemetry systems and specialized medical equipment.
- Strong skills in rhythm interpretation and invasive procedures.
