• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric intensive care to critically ill children in a 24-bed PICU setting.
• Float within scope to meet the needs of the facility and sister units, including Neonatal ICU and Cardiothoracic ICU.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (Epic) for documentation and communication.
• Support designated holidays, including working 2 out of 3 holidays and weekends.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and maintain compliance with all certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU or strong CVICU experience with floating background.
• Valid California nursing license.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and variable schedules.
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel nursing experience or previous floating assignment.
• Experience with advanced care modalities such as ECMO and heart transplantation.
• Experience with neonatal critical care (NICU) is a plus.
• Ability to work within flexible block schedules.
