- Full-time, rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a pediatric intensive care unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, covering various units as required.
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with off days every 4 weeks.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and documentation procedures using Epic.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain certification requirements and ensure compliance with hospital standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years PICU or strong CVICU experience with floating background.
- Valid California nursing license.
- BLS and PALS certifications.
- Experience with Epic electronic health records.
- Willing to work holidays and weekends as required.
- Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and ability to float within scope.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Experience with pediatric or cardiac ICU care.
- Familiarity with advanced modalities such as ECMO or heart transplants.
- Experience in a Level IV NICU setting is a plus.
