Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient health status, recognize ECG rhythms, and respond to critical situations.
- Document patient information accurately, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments following prescribed guidelines during assigned shifts.
- Complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Ohio or Compact State nursing license.
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety assessments.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital setting, particularly in Med/Surg or Telemetry.
- Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms quickly and accurately.
