- Full-time, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a 300-bed acute care hospital within the PCU (Progressive Care Unit) and stepdown units
- Manage patients requiring critical care, including CRRT, BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and draw own labs
- Conduct and monitor codes, respond to patient emergencies, and handle consults independently
- Float between ICU, medical-surgical, med/tele, and emergency departments as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies and ensure compliance with all safety and care standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- At least 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care or ICU settings
- Experience with CRRT, BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs independently
- Comfortable conducting codes and managing emergency situations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a similar hospital environment with floating responsibilities
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, critical care setting
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
