Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shifts, 5 days per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM); options for 4x10s also available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Monitor and assist during PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella insertions, and balloon pump procedures
- Respond to on-call needs, including 1–2 weekends per month
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including radiation safety and documentation in Epic or MAC Lab systems
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license in hand prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cath Lab and EP procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Experience with EP procedures (monitoring, pacing, burning), and Cath Lab interventions including PCI, Impella, Shockwave, and CSI
- Radiation badge required (agency-provided)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring in various cardiovascular cases
- Tilt table studies, cardioversion, vascular access (carotid, peripheral)
- PFA and Watchman device experience
- Vascular intervention experience including carotid and peripheral access
