• Temporary, Onsite, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions; ensure equipment is functioning correctly and supplies are fully stocked
• Assist during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies, maintaining the sterile field, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team
• Support preoperative tasks such as patient preparation, cleansing, disinfecting, and positioning
• Assist with postoperative cleanup, restocking supplies, sterilizing instruments, and helping transport patients to recovery
• Maintain accurate surgical counts and documentation of procedures, equipment used, and patient information
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including lights, suction devices, sterilization tools, and robotic surgical systems if applicable
• Monitor vital signs and support patient care during surgeries, assisting anesthesia personnel as needed

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technician or equivalent
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
• Ability to operate surgical and sterilization equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic patient care and emergency support skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a surgical or operating room setting
• Experience with robotic surgical equipment
• BLS or ACLS certification
