Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a busy Acute Medical/Surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and protocols
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Current BLS certification
• Experience working in a 20-bed General Medical unit with diverse diagnoses such as pneumonia, sepsis, UTI, alcohol-related issues, behavioral health, anemia, and post-operative care
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Knowledge of NIHSS assessment tool
• Ability to handle high-acuity patients and manage multiple priorities efficiently
