Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting for acute care inpatient oncology units.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Cover major and minor holidays as required, including Christmas and New Year's holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Oncology nursing.
- Valid BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs.
