- Full-time, 12-hour shifts, Days
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to labor and delivery patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor fetal and maternal status, administer medications, and assist with deliveries
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
- Support new staff and participate in ongoing training as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in labor and delivery preferred but open to first-timers
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Willingness to be on-call
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic charting system
- Prior experience in a high-volume acute care hospital
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
