- Full-time, 4 shifts per week, days
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor fetal and maternal health, respond to emergencies, and assist with deliveries
- Document patient conditions and care provided using electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license (AK RN license preferred; candidates can submit without license in hand, but must apply ASAP)
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Labor and Delivery
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with flexibility for variable schedules
- Willing to work at least one weekend per shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Level IV Trauma or acute care hospital setting
- Experience working in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment
- Comfortable with electronic charting in Epic
