Registered Nurse - Wound Care
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract, days shift, Monday to Friday, with every other weekend; must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient wound care services in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement wound treatment plans
• Document patient progress using electronic health records, including EPIC system
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust as needed
• Educate patients and their families on wound care and prevention strategies
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient hospital wound care
• Valid Virginia RN license (pending submission accepted)
• BLS certification required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• WOCN certification highly preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with wound care in a hospital environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong documentation and communication skills
