Key Responsibilities
• Provide bedside nursing care to telemetry patients, including rhythm interpretation and critical monitoring.
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately, passing hospital proctored assessments with over 80% accuracy.
• Document patient care using electronic charting systems.
• Administer critical drips and manage CVA (stroke) patients as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and local employment rules regarding mileage.

Required Qualifications
• Active New York State RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proven ability to read rhythms and pass hospital rhythm test with >80% accuracy.
• Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including recent telemetry exposure.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Critical care or CVA (stroke) unit experience.
• At least one year of recent telemetry experience.
• Experience managing critical drips and complex cardiac cases.
• Flu vaccination or valid exemption.
