Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting, including observation of patients with respiratory, surgical, and medical diagnoses.
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions, including psychiatric observation, palliative, hospice, and diabetic patients.
• Administer treatments and medications following hospital protocols, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Complete required documentation in electronic health records system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Float across various hospital facilities as needed, including handling diverse patient populations and conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to pass an EKG exam during onboarding.
• Flexibility to work nights and participate in holiday rotations (2 out of 4 holidays, including Christmas Eve or Day, NYE or NYD).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience.
• EPIC electronic health records system experience.
• Experience with complex patient conditions such as respiratory issues, diabetes management, or psychiatric observation.
