- Full-time, Days shift, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, float required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to a diverse adult and geriatric population, including orthopedic, medical-surgical, and telemetry monitoring
- Assist patients with postoperative recovery from procedures such as total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
- Collaborate with physical therapy staff to ensure patients receive appropriate therapy without leaving the unit
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical needs promptly
- Adhere to institutional policies regarding punctuality and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a flexible schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous orthopedic nursing experience
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring
- Experience with high-volume patient care environments
