Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
• Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in medical surgical and telemetry units during night shifts
• Float between units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity as needed
• Administer medications, start IVs, monitor labs and patient vital signs
• Educate patients on treatments and post-discharge care
• Document clinical information accurately using electronic health records (EPIC)
Required Qualifications
• Valid registered nurse licensure in Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and IV therapy
• Experience with IV start, labs, medication administration, and patient education
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Familiarity with telemetry and medical surgical units
• Ability to adapt quickly to unit-based changes and float to different departments
