Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a Medical Surgical/Tele unit.
• Manage patients with diagnoses such as burns, surgical reconstructions, urology, gynecology, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries.
• Perform specialized procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems.
• Collaborate with support services such as pharmacy, respiratory, physical therapy, social work, and transport teams.
• Assist with patient assessments and coordinate care during perioperative and postoperative phases.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Ohio or appropriate compact license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience with similar patient populations.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system and Pyxis medication system.
• Ability to float within the hospital as needed.
