Job Title
• Registered Nurse - ICU

Location
• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) for critically ill patients
• Monitor patient status using telemetry and ventilators, and perform IV starts as needed
• Manage patients with complex conditions including multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-cardiac arrest
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Administer specialized procedures such as continuous glucose monitoring and externalized IV pumps for COVID+ patients

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, specifically in a Medical ICU setting
• EPIC experience is mandatory
• Valid Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
• AHA certifications only

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation system
• Experience with NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV Pumps, and GE monitors and ventilators
