Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week contract, days shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week, days
Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care within the medical-surgical unit, adhering to medical protocols and safety standards
• Monitor and document patient conditions using electronic medical records
• Assist with procedures such as dialysis, gastric decompression, and wound care
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, including dress code and safety guidelines
• Respond to patient needs promptly, contributing to a team-oriented environment
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• IV Certification for LVNs (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a med-surg or neuro setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS certification
• Experience with NIH protocols
• Knowledge of equipment such as Welch Allyn Vital Signs, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, and TelePsych/TeleNeuro systems
