• Full-time, Day shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care within the operating room setting.
• Assist surgeons and other surgical team members during procedures, ensuring sterile techniques and patient safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond effectively to changes in patient condition during procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and safe surgical experiences.
• Respond to emergency cases, including trauma and emergency surgeries, as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN licensure in Utah or a compact state.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication skills—oral, written, and listening.
• Emotional and physical stamina, with the ability to work effectively under stress and in changing circumstances.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in surgical operations, pre-op, and PACU settings.
• Skilled in circulating all types of surgical cases including general, orthopedic, and OB (such as C-sections).
• Ability to assist in trauma cases in the emergency room.
• Confidence caring for surgical patients independently during emergency night calls.
