Registered Nurse PICU
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - PICU

Schedule / Job Type
- 13-week contract, nights shift, 3 shifts per week, rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU setting
- Conduct clinical reviews and monitor patient conditions, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient status, treatments, and medical procedures accurately
- Support families and provide education regarding patient care and treatment plans
- Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia (VA) or pending licensure eligibility
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
- Pediatric cardiac experience highly preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong clinical review skills in a pediatric intensive care setting
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and handle a fast-paced environment
