Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.
• Triage patients to assess and prioritize care based on physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Perform focused assessments and respond promptly to patients' chief complaints.
• Administer medications, collect blood samples, and perform wound care such as cleaning and bandaging.
• Manage patient flow efficiently, ensuring timely care and treatment according to established protocols.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure supplies are stocked and sterile procedures are followed.

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure as an R.N. in the State of Colorado.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of hire.
• At least two years of critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Specialty certification in emergency or critical care areas preferred.
• Ability to perform focused assessments and prioritize patient needs effectively.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC or PALS certification within 6 months of hire; ENPC preferred.
• TNCC certification required within 1 year of hire or upon eligibility.
• Strong patient management and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
