Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week, days and rotating shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting.
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms; respond promptly to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing.
- 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applied for prior to travel.
- Valid Ohio or Compact State nursing license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration assessments during orientation.
- Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
