Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) patients.
- Float to different units as needed, working with a population that includes dementia patients.
- Cover a minimum of every other weekend and work two out of four major holidays.
- Maintain accurate and complete employment history and facility documentation.
- Participate in bi-weekly orientations and adhere to facility protocols and schedules.
- Comply with all safety and certification requirements, including BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Must have current BLS certification through AHA.
- Ability to float across different units and work with dementia patients.
- Reliable transportation, with personal or rental vehicle recommended.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Comfortable working with dementia populations.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to staffing needs.
