Job Title
• Registered Nurse - PACU

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shift, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide post-anesthesia care in the PACU, including pre-op and post-op assessments for GI Lab and Endoscopy patients
• Monitor patients recovering from moderate sedation, ensuring safety and stability
• Manage 30-60 cases per day, adhering to clinical protocols
• Document patient care thoroughly in Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient recovery and discharge processes

Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois RN license
• ACLS and CPR certifications
• Epic electronic health record experience
• At least 2 years of experience in GI Lab, Endoscopy, or PACU settings involving moderate sedation
• Ability to pass an EKG test with an 80% or higher score

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with GI procedures and endoscopy recovery
• Strong knowledge of pre-op and post-op patient management
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
