Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, onsite
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting for high-volume general, orthopedic, gynecological, ENT, urological, plastics, ophthalmology, and cesarean procedures
• Circulate in all service lines except open hearts and neuro surgery, supporting daily surgical operations
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including scrub personnel, to ensure efficient and safe procedures
• Utilize advanced equipment such as ENT microscopes, Mose laser, Stryker towers, and robotic systems
• Adhere to unit policies, including scheduled on-call and weekend shifts, ensuring patient safety and compliance
Required Qualifications
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Valid RN license in Texas or appropriate state
• Minimum of 1 year of operating room nursing experience
• Proven ability to work independently, self-motivated, and operate as the charge nurse from the OR suite
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior scrub experience
• Experience in pre/post-operative Phase II procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment and managing multiple cases
