Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

• Española, NM

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, Monday through Wednesday (3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process across a specified patient population.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs and responses.
• Coordinate care collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring documentation compliance.
• Educate patients and families on discharge planning and ongoing care needs.
• Supervise and support LPNs and assistive personnel as assigned.
• Maintain competency in patient care protocols and standards of practice.

Required Qualifications
• Valid nursing license in the State of New Mexico or a Compact State.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or comparable organization.
• Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in a related specialty.
• At least one 13-week travel nursing assignment completed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to flexible scheduling.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system (Training available on-site).
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
