Therapist - Respiratory Therapist
Location: Johns Island, SC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shift, 3 nights per week, rotating every other weekend, potential to float to similar units as needed, no remote option, on-call as required
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to adult patients in a high-acuity environment, including ICU, step-down, and general floor care
• Manage adult critical care cases with expertise in ventilator management and airway procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Epic and Cerner electronic health records systems
• Collaborate with medical team members to deliver comprehensive respiratory treatment
• Participate in emergency response efforts during hurricane season when required
• Maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements for respiratory care practitioners

Required Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license in hand at start of assignment
• Certified Adult Critical Care Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of adult critical care experience in a hospital or emergency setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule
• Willingness to work in high-pressure, high-acuity environments with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with Epic and Cerner charting systems
• Previous work in freestanding emergency rooms or similar high-volume settings
• Ability to float across different service lines as needed
