Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
- Complete required ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests during onboarding with a pass/fail criterion
- Participate in patient assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond to emergencies promptly
- Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed
- Adhere to all hospital policies and maintain compliance with certification and licensing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Ability to pass the Telemetry Competency Exam (85% passing score)
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Knowledge of critical pathways and professional development activities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience is a plus
- Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Flexibility to float within hospital units
