- Full-time, Night shift, 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays expected
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Perform and document ECG/telemetry tests during onboarding, ensuring pass criteria are met
- Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed to support patient care
- Adhere to all compliance requirements, including flu vaccination and BILH coversheet submission
- Maintain accurate patient records and perform medication administration as required
- Demonstrate proficiency in critical paths and telemetry competency assessments
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam (85% passing score, no re-sit allowed)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification required
- Documented professional development activities
- Knowledge of critical paths and charge nurse experience preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience is a plus
- Experience with professional developmental activities

Additional Notes
- No local travelers; candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Orientation occurs biweekly
- Candidates must test within 48 hours of offer and pass on the first attempt using provided study materials
- Travelers who have worked for the same health system within the last six months are not eligible
- Contract guarantees 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time
