Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized cardiac care within the CVICU and float to CCU as needed
• Manage patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including postoperative and medical patients
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and respond to emergent cardiac events
• Utilize PA lines, transvenous pacing, and monitor MCS devices such as IABP and Impella
• Follow all safety protocols, including CPR and ACLS certifications, for critical patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiac patient management

Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in Massachusetts at the time of submission
• Strong experience with PA lines and transvenous pacing
• Cardiac nursing experience in surgical or medical settings
• Certification in CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support devices such as IABP or Impella
• Prior CVICU experience with strong cardiac expertise
• Ability to float between CVICU and CCU efficiently

Additional Notes
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating or night shifts, with scheduling details discussed during interview
• No local travelers; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Orientation provided weekly on Mondays, excluding holidays
• Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time
• Travel expenses may include parking costs up to $43/day
• Candidates with recent (within six months) experience as a permanent staff member at the organization are not eligible
