Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU), including float duties as needed.
• Manage and monitor patients with complex cardiac conditions, including those with pacemaker wires, transvenous pacing, and mechanical circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Follow all hospital protocols, including CPR and ACLS procedures, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid MA Registered Nurse license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of strong cardiac experience, including PA line placement and transvenous pacing.
• Experience with surgical or medical cardiac patients.
• CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Ability to work rotating or night shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support devices such as IABP or Impella.
• Prior ICU experience, specifically in CVICU settings.
• Familiarity with float assignments and hospital protocols for cardiac care.
