• Full-time, Night shifts, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Manage complex postoperative conditions including drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and anesthesia recovery.
• Support preoperative patients with multiple, complex cases as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient status accurately in electronic health records using EPIC.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and efficiently during recovery.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• At least 1 year of critical care experience or experience at a Level I Trauma Center.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in vent management, IV starts, and telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to manage complex postoperative patients including multiple drains, vasoactive infusions, and mechanical ventilation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in PACU or critical care within a Level I Trauma environment.
• Familiarity with Epic charting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced setting.
