Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including cardiovascular surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, arrhythmias, endocarditis, CHF exacerbations, and overflow cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to unit protocols and safety guidelines, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
• Float across various levels of care such as Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU as needed, with provided resources and training.
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities as operational needs require.
• Support precepting and student shadowing initiatives at teaching facilities, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana or eligible for IN/Compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting, including Telemetry.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS are preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and floated units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and IV start procedures.
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient care and complex clinical situations.
