- Full-time, night shifts, 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours options
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for a 41-bed inpatient unit with telemetry, focusing on renal and limb preservation patients.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias, managing arrhythmias as needed.
- Administer treatments for patients with ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, and diabetic foot ulcers.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including hospitalists, RN navigators, NAs, dietary, PT/OT, and pharmacy to deliver comprehensive care.
- Ensure adherence to unit protocols, including patient safety and documentation using EPIC and Pyxis systems.
- Participate in self-scheduling and complete 24 hours of orientation prior to start, including EMR training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including tele or med-surg backgrounds.
- Experienced with telemetry monitoring and interpreting dysrhythmias.
- BLS certification is required.
- Ability to pass EKG testing prior to onboarding.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and NIH certifications are a plus.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Experience with renal and limb preservation patient care preferred.
