Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit, with a focus on neuro diagnoses
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Utilize hospital systems such as Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR for medication, documentation, and communication
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including EKG testing prior to assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong teamwork and patient safety focus
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro care experience preferred
• Willingness to learn the charge nurse role
• NIH certification preferred
