Schedule / Job Type
- Dayshift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, full-time, temporary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias management.
- Titrate medication drips and manage peripheral lines, PICC lines, and IV therapy.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical protocols, including required exams.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient outcomes.
- Float between all Cone Health campuses as needed, supporting staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in similar units.
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
- Must pass the required EKG exam.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and manage patient care ratios of 1:5.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in PCU or Stepdown units.
- Strong skills in managing titrated drips and peripheral/central lines.
- Flexible to float across multiple campuses and units.
