Full-time, day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit, ensuring high standards of safety and quality
- Monitor patient status and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias, to support timely interventions
- Manage and titrate IV drips, including PICC line and peripheral line care
- Administer medications and procedures adhering to hospital protocols and policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth unit operations
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care activities and clinical observations
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PCU or similar setting
- Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and interpretation
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation, no call shifts
- Willingness to float between all Cone Health campuses as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with titrating and managing IV drips in a stepdown or ICU setting
- Familiarity with managing complex cardiac patients and emergency procedures
