Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in IMC, PCU, and step-down units during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage cardiac telemetry, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Administer and titrate IV drips, including PICC line and peripheral line care
- Ensure compliance with all safety and procedural protocols
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations; Floating required between all campus facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Valid RN license for the state of North Carolina
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
- Experience with peripheral line and PICC line management
- Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in IMC, PCU, or step-down units
- Comfort with floating across multiple campuses as needed
- Strong knowledge of titrating IV drips and managing complex patient care situations
