Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

• Columbia, SC
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient record management, with at least 1 year of recent Epic experience required
• Float to other units or campuses as needed, adhering to documented competencies and qualifications
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and patient care protocols
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in MedSurg / Ortho nursing in a large healthcare facility
• Strong experience in Orthopedic patient care
• At least 1 year of recent experience working with Epic EMR
• Valid RN license in the state of South Carolina or appropriate licensing for practice in the region
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and flexible with floating to different units when required
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar advanced care hospital
• Prior experience with triaging and managing acute care orthopedic patients
• Skilled in working with diverse patient populations and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
