Job Title

• Full-time, night shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide acute critical care nursing for patients in the ICU setting, including ventilator management and complex patient monitoring.
• Adhere to unit protocols and documentation standards utilizing electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in acuity.
• Ensure safety and comfort for a diverse patient population with conditions such as respiratory failure, post-operative stabilization, and complex multi-system issues.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures for patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in SD or a compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, oxygen titration, and telemetry.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and procedural skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to floating across units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior ICU or medical-surgical ICU experience.
• Certification in Progressive Care Nursing or specialized ICU certifications.
• Experience with Epic documentation, Alaris pumps, and Acudose medication systems.
• Familiarity with mechanical ventilation management, moderate sedation, and pulmonary care.
