• Rotating shifts; Days and Nights; 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including ventilator management, nebulizer treatments, EKGs, and BIPAP/CPAP therapy.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as Dräger ventilators, Respironics BIPAP/CPAP machines, and other respiratory devices.
• Perform bedside spirometry and assist with patient care across various hospital departments.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care.
• Adapt to multiple units including ICU, Med-Surg, Peds, OB, and Family Care areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation utilizing computerized charting and hospital systems.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program with valid Minnesota state licensure.
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minnesota SNSA certification or willingness to obtain upon acceptance.
• Current certifications in ACLS and NRP are preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in hospital settings with ventilator management and critical care.
• Proven ability to prioritize duties and communicate effectively across diverse healthcare teams.
• Competency in caring for patients of all ages.
