Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 12-hour shifts, 12 weeks duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER environment, including trauma, stroke care, and psychiatric cases.
• Perform procedures such as U/S IV insertion, IO insertion, laceration repair, and EKG interpretation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond to acute emergencies and provide critical interventions as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• At least 2 years of recent ER experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (required for contract staffing).
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One or more years of ER experience with staff hired through HCA.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, and TNCC certifications.
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation.
