• Travel, 12-hour shifts, Days, 12-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with varied and complex medical conditions in a fast-paced ED environment.
• Perform assessments, develop and implement patient care plans, and administer treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Utilize advanced skills such as U/S IV insertion, EKG interpretation, and trauma care procedures.
• Document patient information accurately using EMR systems.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to department policies and protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required for contract labor.
• Ability to perform advanced assessments and procedures.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and dependability.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and emergency equipment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one year of ED experience for HCA hired staff.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, and TNCC certifications preferred for HCA hired staff.
• Strong understanding of EKG interpretation.
• Experience with trauma, stroke care, and complex cardiac conditions.
