Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a busy ED environment, responding to a wide variety of patient needs.
• Perform assessments, administer treatments, and coordinate care for patients with complex conditions such as trauma, stroke, sepsis, and cardiac issues.
• Support unit operations including order entry, procedures, and patient education, following written protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate flexibility and strong critical thinking skills during high-acuity situations.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (required for contract roles).
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-volume emergency settings.
• Dependability and punctuality.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of ER experience with HCA or similar staffing agencies.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, TNCC certifications.
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation.
• Experience with U/S IV insertion, IO access, and trauma procedures.
